I am sure you meant to type

ln( x/(x-5) ) + ln( (x+5)/x ) - ln(x^2 - 25)
= lnx - ln(x-5) + ln(x+5) - lnx - (ln(x+5) + ln(x-5)
= -ln(x-5) + ln(x+5) - ln(x+5) - ln(x-5)
= -2ln(x-5)
