how do we calculate the equilibrant if the upward force is 450N and the downward force is 750N acting on the same line?

SThe sum of forces has to be zero.
Upward-downward+Equilibrant=0
so Equilibriant=downward-Upward
if Equilibrant is +, it is upward, if it is negative, downward.
Upward-downward+Equilibrant=0
so Equilibriant=downward-Upward
if Equilibrant is +, it is upward, if it is negative, downward.
