Calculate the magnitude of a when a = (2, 3, -2). Find (1/|a|)xa. Is it a unit vector.

I calculated the |a| = sqrt17. I don't know how to determine if it's a unit vector or not?

It is not a unit vector unless its magnitude is 1. To make it a unit vector, all three components would have to be divided by sqrt17.
