Np pt having foot pain centering around rt great toe and sometomes shooting up her leg. PF exam revealed severe overgrowth og nail into surrounding tissues. Pt has a n workup for gout by the doctor. Surgery scheduled for wedge resection of skin of nail fold to repair ingrown nail. pt admitted, surgery done!
