The coin flipping has nothing to do with the outcome of the dice throw. The events are independent of each other.
If you had said for example: "If I throw double sixes, then I will flip a coin",
then they events would not be independent.
If you had said for example: "If I throw double sixes, then I will flip a coin",
then they events would not be independent.
