What concentration of SO32– is in equilibrium with Ag2SO3(s) and 3.20 × 10-3 M Ag ? The Ksp of Ag2SO3=1.50×10^–14

Is the concentration of SO32- = 4.69*10^-12?

No. I obtained your incorrect answer by NOT squaring (Ag^+). Square the (Ag^+) and you'll be ok.

Is the answer 1.50*10^-14?

No. What do you not understand about this?
.......Ag2SO3 ==> 2Ag^+ + SO3^2-
I......solid.......0........0
C.....solid........2x.......x
E......solid.......2x.......x but the problem tells you that (Ag^+) at equilibrium is 0.0032.

Ksp = 1.5E-14 = (Ag^=)^2(SO3^2-)
1.5E-14 = (0.0032)^2(x)
x = ?

The answer is wrong. ksp is not 1.00*10^-9

You're right. Ksp is 1.5E-14 and it says so in the problem. If you input 1.00E-9 in some database somewhere I'm not surprised it returned a not correct answer. That reports the wrong number and there are too many significant figures.
(SO3^2-) = 1.5E-14/(0.0032)^2 = 1.46 E-9M and since you are allowed two places from the Ksp data, I would round that to 1.5E-9M = (SO3^2-). If that one returns a not correct answer the data base is wrong or you've made a typo in posting the problem. Let me know.

My calculator only show up to the 1.0*10^-9 not 1.46*10^-9. Thanks

REALLY! WOW. You need to read your instruction manual and set the calculator to show more than two places. Mine has a button that I punch to show anything from 1 to 14 or so and although yous may not show as many as mine all calculators I've seen will do 6-8 anyway. I have mine set to 6 places and I can read more or less depending upon how many significant figures I'm allowed.
Thanks for letting me know.
