I hope your other one didn't need matrices because..I did it the other way.
4 -1 -3 8
2 2 -1 3
6 1 -3 2
You want to manipulate the rows so that in the end, you end up with
1 0 0 a where a = the value for x
0 1 0 b where b = the value for y
0 0 1 c where c = the value for z.
4x-y-3z=8
2x+2y-z=3
6x+y-3z=2
