5(6-2x)=.3(-2x+6)
30-10x=-0.6x+1.8
10x+0.6=30-1.8
9.4x=28.2
9.4/9.4 and 28.2/9.4
x=3

Are you trying to solve the one equation for x? If so, what is your problem? What don't you understand about the problem?

5(6-2x)=-3(-2x+6)
30-10x=-6x-18
30+18=-6x-18
30+18=-6x+10
48=4x
48/4 and 4x/4
x=12
