When 6 grams of acetic acid and 8.4 grams of sodium bicarbonate react, how many moles of CO2 is produced? I don't know how to show the work.

This is a limiting reagent problem. You know that because amounts are given for BOTH reactants.
NaHCO3 + CH3COOH ==> H2O + CO2 + CH3COONa

mols NaHCO3 = grams/molar mass
mols CH3COONa = grams/molar mass

Convert mols NaHCO3 to mols CO2.
Convert mols CH3COOH to mols CO2.
It is likely these two numbers will not be the same; therefore, one of them must be wrong. The correct answer in limiting reagent problems is ALWAYS the smaller value and the reagent producing that value is the limiting reagent.
