for the fractions, some parentheses or at least spaces would help designate what the factors are

2x^2-3x-1 : x=(3±√17)/4
3x^2+2x-2 : x=(-2±√28)/6 = (-1±√7)/3
x^2-3x-9 : x=(3±√45)/2 = (3±3√5)/2

Just plug in the numbers. What's the problem?
