I think I managed to translated your "English" to
"The LCM of two numbers is 495 and their HCF is 5. When adding the two numbers we get 100.
What is the difference between the two numbers ? "
495 = 5 x 9 x 11
both must divided by 5, one is multiple of 9 , the other a multiple of 11
how about 45 and 55
their HCF is 5
their LCM is 495 and their sum is 100
Then their difference is 55-45 = 10

let us two numbers are x, (100-x)
x.(100-x)=495*5
100x-x^2=2475
x^2-100x+2475=0
x^2-55x-45x+2475
x(x-55)-45(x-55)
x=55 or x=45
difference is 55-45=10
thanks
