    Recall that the slope of a line is ∆y/∆x
Since it does not change, you can pick any point (x,y) on the line, and the slope there will be the same as the slope between the two given points. So, starting from (6,26),
(y-26)/(x-6) = (85-26)/(17-6)
Now simplify the fraction rearrange that as you will. The above is the point-slope form for the line.
