How many grams of magnesium sulfate would you need to make 0.500 L of a 10.0% M/V solution in water? Please show work.

You want 10% m/v. That means 10 g Mg2SO4 per 100 mL soln. Convert that to 500 mL.
10g x (500/100) = ? g/500 mL.
