Two problems here:
1 . without brackets, it is hard to tell what the equations really are
e.g. I am pretty sure that
#1 is 5/(2y+6) + 1/(y-2) = 3/(y+3)
then:
5/( 2(y+3)) + 1/(y-2) = 3/(y+3)
the LCD is 2(y-2)(y+3)
so multiply each term by that ...
5(y-2) + 2(y+3) = 6(y-2)
5y - 10 + 2y + 6 = 6y - 12
y = -8
2. looks an awful lot like plain homework dumping.
