If you turn a Stirling Heat engine manually, it will condense water out of the atmosphere. The technology is old but the application is rare indeed. My friend Clifford Dorn had a contract with the U.S. Forest Service to produce wind powered water generator stations on remote, arid trails, but they canceled it "Due to a change in administration".
