Kathy Olsen, marketing and community information coordinator for Michigan Works, said that many people who struggle finding employment lack the necessary soft skills such as teamwork, communication and professional standards, etc that employers look for and also lack understanding regarding the importance of a quality resume.
According to Olsen, Michigan Works had roughly 10 thousand people come and access their services last month. They offer a range of services, free of charge, to all individuals to assist them in finding employment.
“In Kalamazoo County our focus for Michigan Works is to increase awareness of services available and how these services can assist individuals to find and retain employment,” said Olsen.

"and also" is redundant wording.
