I've been working on this problem for while, and I keep getting the answer wrong every time I do it.
The volume of the solid obtained by rotating the region enclosed by
y=e^(5x+1) y=0 x=0 x=0.8
about the x-axis can be computed using the method of disks or washers via an integral:
(what I set it up as)
intg(pi(e^(5x)+1)^(2)) with a=0 and b=0.8
The last answer I got was wrong and it was 6917.5. Please, I need help working out this home work problem! Thanks!
