They both travel the same distance, in the same time.
truck:
distance=10t
car:
distance=1/2 2 t^2
10t=t^2
10=t so time is ten seconds.
distance=10*t
velocitycar=2*t=20m/s
truck:
distance=10t
car:
distance=1/2 2 t^2
10t=t^2
10=t so time is ten seconds.
distance=10*t
velocitycar=2*t=20m/s

Equation of motion for he truck: s=ut
Equation of motion for the car: s=1/2at^2
the second solution gives , s=2u^2/a = 2*10^2/2 = 100m
