Yikes. Send me to the bottom of the class.
The b part IS for Kp and Qp so that answer should stand.
Convert Kp to Kc in #1. I don't agree with your answer.
In which direction will the net reaction proceed
X(g)+Y(g)<---->Z(g)
Kp=1.00 at 300k
for each of these sets of initial conditions?
a) [X]=[Y]=[Z]=1.0 m
net reaction goes to the left
net reaction goes to the right
reaction is at equilibrium
I chose 3 for a.
b) Px=Pz=1.0 atm, Py=0.50 atm
net reaction goes to the left
net reaction goes to the right
reaction is at equilibrium
I chose two for b.
Can someone check this for me?

Right. Go to the head of the class.

It is wrong. It said Incorrect. You need to compare Qc to Kc, not Kp.

So part a would be at equilibrium and part b would be goes to the left?
Did you convert Kp to Kc?
Are you changing the answer to b?
Are you changing the answer to b?
Kc=0.0406
How did you get 0.0406 for Kc.? Show your work.
Part A answer was number two and Part B was number one
a) [X]=[Y]=[Z]=1.0 m
ans= net reaction goes to the right
b) Px=Pz=1.0 atm, Py=0.50 atm
ans=net reaction goes to the left
ans= net reaction goes to the right
b) Px=Pz=1.0 atm, Py=0.50 atm
ans=net reaction goes to the left
