I imagine you're supposed to solve for the missing variables. I'll do a couple so you get the idea.

2a - a/5 = 2/3
adding like terms:
1.8 a = 2/3
9/5 a = 2/3
a = 10/27
2)
3(a+4)+1 = a/2
3*a + 12 + 1 = a/2
3*a + 13 = a/2
13 = -2.5a
a = 13/-2.5
