I don't know why teachers do these problems.

It is a conversion of cm to yards, and grams to lbs.

density=1.32gram/cm^3)*(2.54cm/in)^3*(36in/yard)^3*1lb/454grams

do all that, then
poundsmass=densityabove*1cubicyard
and you have to worry about what is meant by Weigh in pounds: pound mass, or pound force.
