23 grams of NaOH is dissolved in 1.5L of water, find;

a)Concentration of the solution
b)pOH
c)pH

1 answer

What units do you want concn. The easy way is 23g/1.5L.
You may want molarity. That will be
mols NaOH = 23/molar mass NaOH.. Then
M = mols/L solution.
b. pOH = -log(NaOH)
c. pH + pOH = pKw = 14. You know pOH and Kw, solve for pH.
