I'm having trouble determining the range movie tickets sold by looking at a histogram. I know you normally take the highest value represented and subtract the lowest value from it to get the range. However, when you have a histograme and the data set is represented like 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 on the histogram would you determine the range by doing 49 - 20 = 29 or do you work it some other way? Thanks...

Depending on whether you want to emphasize or minimize the range, you could choose the end points or the mid-points, respectively.
