solve with substitution:

4x+y=2
3y+2x=-1

y = 2-4x

Substituting,
3(2-4x) + 2x = -1
6-12x + 2x = -1
-10x = -1-5
-10x = -6
x = 6/10 or 3/5

-10x = -1-6
-10x = -7
x = 7/10
