Ms. Fuller has 2 2/6 pies left over from her party. Write the number of pies left over as a fraction greater than 1.

How do I arrive at the answer. I know the answer.

1/4 * 5 = 5/4 = 1 1/4

2 2/6 = (2 * 6) + 2 = 14/6
