Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken winged bird
That cannot fly
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with Snow.
Can someone explain to me what this poem means.

It seems pretty obvious: If you have dreams for your life (goals for yourself), you won't live a broken, barren, and cold life!
