Do you mean 2 1/3 and 1 3/4?

Convert to decimals.

2.33 + 1.75 = ?

This is what I did. . .
2 1/3 x 4/4= 2 4/12
1 3/4 x 3/3= 1 9/12
2 4/12 + 1 9/12= 3 13/12= 4 1/12
Answer: No, they need 1/12 of a cup more flour.
Answered by Lolbit
Hope that helps I am gonna put in the second part in a minute. . .
Answered by Lolbit
This is what I did for the second part hope it helps

2 2/3 is 2 hours and 40 minutes, and he needs that exact amount to have 7 hours. So, 7 hours - 2 2/3= 4 1/3
