area of circle is given by equation:
A = pi*r^2 ,
where A is area
pi is 3.14
r is radius
2) A = pi*(11.5^2) = 3.14*(11.5^2) = ?
3) radius is half the diameter d
so r = 3.5 /2 = 1.75
Then area is,
A = pi*(1.75^2) = 3.14*(1.75^2) = ?
A = pi*r^2 ,
where A is area
pi is 3.14
r is radius
2) A = pi*(11.5^2) = 3.14*(11.5^2) = ?
3) radius is half the diameter d
so r = 3.5 /2 = 1.75
Then area is,
A = pi*(1.75^2) = 3.14*(1.75^2) = ?
