Need help with one sentence structure.
I don't know if I am going to be able to explain it good.
It goes like this "the measures will have to be much more drastic than if they were conducted today" I need help with this part "than if they were conducted today". I want to say that if we wait the measures will have to be harsher,so better do it today". The question is: Is this construction of the sentence "than if they were conducted today" good or is there something better?

Something better is your wording in your explanation! "If we wait ... do it today."

I can't use that. It is paraphrasing :/ I'll leave it that way "than if they were conducted today"

Yes, that's fine, too! Both ways to phrase the idea get the message across accurately!
