ms. sue in the movie, the dad keep telling his son that they be the good guys. I not know what be ironic about this.
Answered by Ms. Sue
Are they really "bad guys"?

In old Western movies, everyone is usually a "good" guy or a "bad" guy.

well in movie they be fighting for survival, cause they do not have anything, but father sort of starts being bad, because if you need to survive, then you need to do everything you can to live. but still i not get what be ironic when he tell his son that they be good guys when son ask him that.
Answered by Ms. Sue
I think it's ironic that he calls himself a good guy, when most people would call him the bad guy.

also I not understand this quote

this is what father say to his son i think:

"If I were God, I would have made the world just so and no different. And so I have you... I have you."
Answered by Ms. Sue
It seems that he's rejecting his son -- saying that if he were God, his son would not have been born.

However, since I haven't read the book, I suggest you ask your teacher about that quote.
