                In a laboratory experiment 259 ml of gas was collectedd over water at 24 degree C and 752 torr. Calculate the volume, that the dry gas occupy at STP?

    Use (P1V1/T1) = (P2V2/T2)
Look up the vapor pressure of H2O at 24 C.
P1 = 752 torr - v.p. H2O in torr.
V1 = 252 mL
T1 = 273 + 24
P2, V2, T2 are STP conditions.
Solve for V2.
