What is the slope of the line that passes through the pair of points?
(-5/3, -1)and (-2, 9/2)

I think it is D?

(9/2 + 1)/(-2 + 5/3) = 11/2 / -1/3 = -33/2

looks like you lost a - sign somewhere.

The 2nd point is above and to the left of the 1st, so the line has a negative slope.
