so you have one mole in half a liter which is 2 moles per liter

Molarity=number of moles(n)/volume
also n=mass(m)/molar mass(M)
therefore,
Molarity(C)=mass/molar mass*volume
C=58.44g/0.5L(58.44g/mol)
C=2moles per litre
