Ron is tiling a countertop. He needs to place 54 square tiles in each of 8 rows to cover the counter. He wants to randomly place 8 groups of four blue tiles each and have the rest of the tiles in white. How many white tiles will Ron need?

8 groups of 4 blue tiles use 32 tiles

that leaves 432-32 = 400 white tiles
