The Federalists favored and ratified the Constitution; the AntiFederalists did not. They feared a loss of states' rights. Noted AntiFederalists were Patrick Henry, George Mason and Samuel Adams. Sam Adams approved it when the Bill of Rights was added. Eventually, it was ratified by all states.
