I hope you mean:

C(x)=3600+25x+(1/2)x^2
R(x)=(175-(1/2)x)x

where does C = R?
.5 x^2 + 25 x +3600 = 175 x - .5 x^2

x^2 -150 x + 3600 = 0

(x-120)(x-30) = 0
x = 120 or x = 30
