Find critical points of f, and the extrema of f on the given interval.
a)f(x) = x^4-10x^2; [0,3]
b)f(x) = (x/e^x); [0,2]

Just take tbe derivative of the functions, set that to zero and solve for x. Take those values you got and the interval values and test them in the ORIGINAL function ( f(x) not the derivative! )and see which is the biggest value (absolute max) and the smallest value (absolute min) **MAKE SURE THESE VALUES LIE IN THE INTERVAL**
