A o.1 kg coin is placed on the horizontal surface of a rotating turntable at a position that is 0.12 m away from the center of the turntable. If the coefficient of static friction equals 0.3 between the coin and the turntable, what maximum speed, v, can the coin have without spinning off the surface (if one may take for the gravitational acceleration g=10m/s^2 downward and ignoring any effects due to air resistance)?

m*v^2/r <= cf*N
where m is the mass of the object, v is the speed of the object, r is the radius, cf is the coefficient of static friction, and N is the normal force = m*g
Solve for v
where m is the mass of the object, v is the speed of the object, r is the radius, cf is the coefficient of static friction, and N is the normal force = m*g
Solve for v
