Jose's speed = X mi/h.
Kayia's speed = (X+35)mi/h.
They had traveled the same distance:
Dj = Dk.
D=Xmi/h * (2.1+1.2)h=(X+35)mi/h * 1.2h.
3.3x = 1.2x + 42
2.1x = 42
X = 2o mi/h.
