Why Al(OH)3 precipitation is red ? Is this the result of electron transition?
Thanks for your help :)

Most Al(OH)3 ppt I have seen is white, not red. In fact, I've never seen a red ppt of Al(OH)3 and I've been in this chemistry business for a long long time. It might be possible to form a sol (a colloidal suspension) of Al(OH)3; in that case the color is due to the size of the particles.
