A number made up of the digits 4,5,and 6 is subtracted from a number made up of the digits of 0,2,8. The difference ia 157. Write out the entire problem?

If the difference is odd, one of the numbers must be even, the other odd.

So, the odd must end in 5.

12-5=7, so the even number ends in 2

we know the even number does not begin with 0, so its middle digit is 8.

10-4 = 6, but we borrowed. So,

802 - 645 = 157
