6n + 4 = n - 11
6n + n = 11 - 4
5n = 7
n = 2
is it correct???? (sorry but I'm trying to do the problems and I'm just making sure to see if I'm correct so I may post a few problems, don't worry not too much)

No. You forgot the minus sign.
6n + 4 = n - 11
5n = -4 - 11
5n = -15
n = -3
