A motor cycle starts from rest and reaches a speed of 6m/s after travelling with uniform acceleration for 3s. What is his acceleration?

a = change in velocity / change in time
= (6-0)/(3-0) = 2 m/s^2
= (6-0)/(3-0) = 2 m/s^2
