The worlds pop in 1970 is estimated to be 3.7*10^9. The yearly growth rate is approximately 2%. How large would the world's pop be in 1980? Would i use log functions? please help.

population = 3.7*10^9 (1/02)^10 , (10 years increase)
= 4.5 * 10^9
