Combining Like Terms
1. 3a + a = 16
2. 9x - 3x = 30
3. 5w + 3w = 24

I really need help with this, can you at least do one or two for me so I can do the other problem.

4a = 16
a = 16/4
a = 4

2.
9x - 3x = 30
6x = 30
x = ?
