I am not sure why you multiplied. Can you explain that. Thank you

Ms. Sue
The word "of" means multiply.
Please give me a quarter of a dollar.
1/4 * 1 = 1/4
He read half of the 300 pages.
1/2 * 300 = 300/2 = 150

Ms.Sue lowkey just exposed herself in a way. The reason I say this is because she always ridicules us, on how to get the answer but in this one, she tells us the answer herself.
But regardless of that good job Ms.Sue.
Thank you as well.
