You could do a normal division of 936/12, then move the decimal point 2 places to the right.

936/12 = 78, so
936/.12 = 7800

or, you could factor out common factors to get smaller numbers to work with:

936/.12 = 468/.06 = 234/.03 = 78/.01 = 7800
