Question

A certain computer can perform 10^5 calculations per second. How many calculations can it perform in 10 seconds?

I just cannot seem to solve this problem can somebody explain how to do this step by step?

Ummmh, doesn't 10^5 mean
10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 ??
So if we multiply by another 10 , how many 10's will we have now ?
