Why is she walking so slow toward the house?

Is that correct or should it be (so slowly}

They both sound correct

We often can't depend upon what sounds best because we all hear mangled English grammar.

The correct adverb is slowly. It modifies the verb "is walking."

When you're in doubt, look up the word in a dictionary.
