x-3x^(1/2)+2=0

x+2 = 3x^(1/2)
square both sides
x^2 + 4x + 4 = 9x
x^2 - 5x + 4 = 0
(x-1)(x-4) = 0
x = 1 or x = 4

but , since we squared, all answers must be verified

if x=1
LS = 1 - 3(1) + 2 = 0 = RS
if x=4
LS = 4 - 3(2) + 2 = 0 = RS

x = 1 or x = 4
